As we learn throughout our lives that God has chosen us in Christ, we become more grateful and more aware of the implications of own choices in life. From daily choices to major decisions, from indecision, to an “inner Amen” choosing well is a skill and art that followers of Jesus develop over a lifetime. This fall worship series will focus on several arenas in which choosing well makes a difference in our own lives and in the life of the broader community.
This series will include rituals honoring new members, new babies, baptism, and God’s healing power. We will also welcome our ministry interns: Lindsay Davis (MDiv student supervised by Pastor Jennifer) and Matt Naugle (undergrad student, supervised by Pastor Jason). During the September Sundays we will fill our Penny Power jug to support special projects of Mennonite Central Committee and Virginia Mennonite Missions.
