CMC offers many opportunities for people to get to know each other.
We have a church potluck on the first Sunday of every month at noon.
Small groups provide settings for fellowship and support. Many CMCers choose to be in a small group. Others do not. There is no pressure to join a group.
Taco Tuesday takes place in the Fellowship Hall on the third Tuesday of each month at 6 PM. The goal is to serve a simple, tasty meal that meets a variety of dietary needs, and to provide an opportunity to chat and share in each other's lives.
Learning Interesting Things (LIT) are short talks in which CMCers share about their work, hobbies, travel, and other life experiences that may be of interest to others in the congregation. These talks often take place following Taco Tuesday.
Elderberries is a group for those age 60ish and older. This group meets quarterly for a time of fun and fellowship.
