Profiles in Courage: African-American Women Agitators and Activists

A new weekly adult christian education class will begin Sunday, Nov. 29.  It will meet from 11 am-12 pm. Kent Davis Sensenig will be facilitating the class. The killings of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and many others – and the unveiling of ongoing White Nationalism in the Trump Era – have forced many white Americans back to the table of racial reckoning.  Following up on a series of classes organized by CMC's Racial Equity Taskforce, this historical survey of faith-filled Black women who challenged, shaped, shook, and (re)birthed America again and again through the centuries, seems timely.  Each week we will Zoom two different women "profiles in courage," snapshots provided by two different presenters.
