In response to requests from the congregation, Community Mennonite Church offers monthly electronic
funds transfer (EFT) as a way for the congregation to give their tithe to the church. This is an optional
service for those who would find it helpful. There is no fee for households using the service and your
entire tithe goes to the church.
The EFT is a monthly transfer that is set up using the “Direct Payment Authorization” form. TK add form You can
identify the bank account and amount to use for the transfer, which happens on the first of each month.
The EFT amount is the same each month until a change is made.
At any time, you can send an e-mail to the church administrator with instructions to end the EFT or
change the amount. The e-mail needs to be sent at least a week before the end of the month in order to
implement the change for the following month. We request that amount changes be limited to once per
year if possible.
